Last week’s show held a few surprises, including one big one: the dark horse Michael Sarver. Nobody guessed that he would move on to the top 12. Many people (Alex, Kristen, Andrea, Tony, Jim, and Becky) all guessed that Alexis and Danny would win.

For this week, the challenge is the same. The top guy, top girl, and next highest vote-getter will move on to the top 12. Your task is to predict the three Idols, for 4 points each.

Be sure to be watching for your overall top 5 picks. After the top 12 are announced you will pick your team for the remainder of the season.

Hollywood Results



I’ve tabulated the scores from last weeks’ Hollywood results show.  Here some interesting tidbits:The only person on the ballot who did not make it was Jamar Rodgers (Danny’s friend.) Only Kristen and Alex predicted his fate.
Not one person predicted that Tatiana would make it through.  Many vehemently wished her ill. A sampling:
    ”No (Please god, send this girl packing. She’s so annoying.) + Chair (voluntarily, not because they asked her to)” - Sarah
    ”No (At least, I @!#$&ing hope not)” - Alex
    ”I bet Tatiana Del Crazy sings without being asked” - LailaEveryone picked up double-digit points this round, with Jim picking up 25 points to stay in the lead. Andrea grabbed 23 points and Kristen had the third-highest total with 22.Clarification for tonight

First off, a clarification for tonight’s challenge. Kristen brought up a very good point that everyone should be aware of: the top guy vote-getter, the top girl vote-getter, and then the next highest overall will advance. That means there will be at least one guy, at least one girl, and one other winner tonight.  If you’d like to revise a guess you’ve already made, please do so before 8pm.

Your challenge today is to predict the fate of the following contestants. Who will make it past the dreaded “chair?” Respond with your predictions by 8:00PM today. 2 points for each correct prediction.

Bonus! Guess three contestants who will be forced to sing in the “chair room” to prove their worthiness. 3 points for each correct guess.
